Tutorial: How to download YouTube videos and save Youtube videos to computer

There must be some great Youtube video you want to save and backup on your computer. 1. Launch Program
Open program of Wondershare YouTube Downloader. When you are asked if you want to turn the Recorder on, you can click Yes to turn it on.

2. Download YouTube Videos
Go to YouTube website and open the pages of the videos you’d like to download. When a video starts to play, the program will detect its URL and automatically start to download it. The program will start downloading the videos from all the opened pages right after they start to play. You can find all the files that are being downloaded in the Downloading list. When you find a video is already in the download list, you can close its webpage and the program will still finish downloading it.

If you don’t want to download all videos from the opened pages, you can turn the program Recorder off. And when you want to download a video after watching it, you can copy the URL and click the Add button, select Add URL, and add its URL to the program to download it. All the downloaded files will be put under Categories by default, you can click the Move to button sort the downloaded files into different categories:}

3. Convert YouTube Videos
If you want to convert videos, you can select them and click the Convert button to open the Convert window:

When you see this window, select the output format you prefer, set the output directory for saving the converted video files, and click the OK button to convert the selected video file.
